Musical Monday #236

Ah, back in the good old days of Season One when things were simpler (although this song makes it pretty obvious that she had mental health issues that needed to be addressed).

Musical Monday #235

The Little Mermaid is my favourite Disney movie coz it's the one I grew up with, and Sebastian is my favourite character because he's put-upon, and so I absolutely love this song.

...until that line 'the black fish is singing' and they... WHY DISNEY WHY? This is by far not the worst racial stereotype in a Disney cartoon, but all the same it makes me feel awkward, because you never know when they can just throw something inappropriate into a cartoon and kids absorb it without understanding it... did I mention I love Dumbo too?

Musical Monday #234

Hello and welcome to the first Musical Monday of 2020 in which I am not horribly ill.

Never particularly liked Disney's versions of Winnie-the-Pooh, but this song is kind of amusing.

Musical Monday #233

Hello and welcome to the first Monday of 2020! I am disgustingly ill at the moment, but I crawled out of my sick bed to bring you your musical pick-me-up!  Also happy Epiphany and Handsel Monday which are things today is apparently.
