Moving House

Moving house is one of the most stressful upheavals we willingly inflict on ourselves, and repeatedly too.  No matter how much you plan to plan, to sort everything before you pack so you only take what you really want, to pack things neatly and orderly and logically, with labels for each room, and have it all ready days before the actual moving date, come the night before, it’s still not finished and you’re chucking handfuls of any old crap into any old bag.

Because no matter how hard you try, you’re still working two jobs and you’re knackered when you’re not and you own more than you could ever imagine and once things are packed, confined to one room, there’s nowhere to put it except on top of the stuff you haven’t packed yet, and there’s never enough time

and then under all the pressure, you just

lose your mind.

  1. NEVER AGAIN. Unless it's a cheap mansion, near a train station.

    1. And comes with a free dog and cat.

I look forward to your enthusiastic and loving comment.
