I meant to draw this post out a long time ago, but with The Evil Mouse it was simply an impossibility.  Look forward to more frequent posting in the near future!  Oh yeah, you're excited.

So a while back it was The Birthday, but I only just today received the last of The Birthday Gifts (well, okay, it was the spoils of an Amazon voucher, but it still counts).

Soooo, I thought I’d use today’s post to thank everyone who made The Birthday this year a little bit more special than the other days in the year that aren’t The Birthday (The Loser Days, if you will).

I would like to thank the nice people

who took a second out of their day to wish me a happy birthday online.

And I’d like to thank the lovely people

who know The Phone Number and dropped me a text.

And I’d like to thank the brilliant people

who went all the way to the shop to get me a card.  And the even more brilliant person who made their card themselves, just for me.

And I’d like to thank the absolutely wonderful people

who spent generous amounts of thought and money to buy me the magnificent presents I got this year.

And I’d like to thank the sensational people

who spent some quality birthday time with me.
